    I live in Texas and want to welcome the Magic to Texas. Can u tell me when it will be coming into port in Galveston? Also is there a big party going on?

    Howdy Merri!
    I love to hear you want to be at the pier to welcome the Disney Magic to the Lone Star state!  She will be making her grand entrance bright and early at 7:00am (scheduling is always subject to change) on September 22nd.  No formal party is planned, but I have a feeling that there will be many "Mickey Eared" well-wishers there to be the first to welcome the Magic to her new home!  I do know that Disney Cruise Line does have something extra special planned for their first day in Texas. If it is anything like the huge NYC bumper sticker, you won't be disappointed in the least!  Since everything's bigger in Texas, I'm sure it will be quite spectacular!  At 5:00pm, the Magic will navigate her way out to sea for her first Caribbean voyage, and I'm sure the Captain will make the entire city of Galveston know it is time to say "Bon Voyage" by playing the ship's horn, "When You Wish Upon A Star."  What a magical moment for those lucky enough to be a part of it!
