    I live in tampa Florida. I just won a 1,000.00 experience through work and we want to go to Disney world. There will be 4 of us. My husband, myself and our 2 boys 6 & 8. moderate resort only 1 day at disney and maybe the halloween event.. Suggestions

    Congrats on your win!! That's a great prize you've gotten! I'll be happy to help you spend a bit of it at Walt Disney World !!! Its my favorite place to spend a few bucks!

    My best recommendation for a moderate resort are the Port Orleans resorts: Riverside and French Quarter. If you prefer a resort with a more compact layout, the French Quarter is a bit smaller than its sister resort, Riverside, but both are a great option!

    The pools at these resorts offer a great place to spend a few hours. Both feature fun pool slides that kids love! There are also dining options at both resorts. Another nice feature is the boat transportation which travels from the resort to Downtown Disney via the river. Its a great way to grab a few relaxing moments!!

    Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events at Walt Disney World. The parade opens with a Headless Horseman on a gallop through the Magic Kingdom. From there, the energy continues to build with great music and everyone's favorite characters! Trick or Treat stops are located throughout the Magic Kingdom, so be sure to pick up a map when you enter the park that night!
