Greetings, Cheyann, happy you found us here at planDisney!
As a fellow Southern California resident, I'm happy to share more about the eligibility requirements for the
Disneyland Resort. There are special offers for Southern California residents at times throughout the year. It looks like you're arrival is in just a few short weeks so let's get down to business!
Right now, the
So Cal Resident Ticket Offer is for guests who can provide a valid government-issued photo ID with residency in the zip codes 90000 - 93599. Unfortunately, based on the requirements, a mortgage statement won't suffice as valid proof. I highly recommend visiting your local CA Department of Motor Vehicles to get a new ID as soon as possible. You will need to provide a permanent ID as a temporary paper ID or receipt will not be accepted. IDs will be checked at the first scan in entry to the parks using the special offer ticket. I'm so sorry that is probably not the news you wanted to hear. However, the So Cal Resident Ticket is valid through June 2, so you may have some time if you're able to get your ID appointment and card ordered sooner rather than later. Once you do have your ID, you can take full advantage of So Cal offers in the future.
There's
so much happening in 2024 that whenever your ID comes, magic will be waiting! If you're able to visit in May, you'll be able to experience the galactic
Star Wars Season of the Force at Disneyland Park and
Pixar Fest, a celebration of friendship that spans across both parks! I'm excited to watch
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular and enjoy the
Pixar Fest Cake from Plaza Inn, both at Disneyland Park.
Well, Cheyann, I hope that information helps get you one step closer to experiencing the magic. If you have any more questions, we're happy to
welcome you back!
Magic awaits!
Camille
