Welcome to planDisney, David!
I am so glad you came to planDisney with your question. It sounds like the Disney points you have may be
Vacation Points with
Disney Vacation Club. If that's the case, then you are in the right place! Let's dive in and see how you could use Vacation Points to sail on a
Disney Cruise Line voyage.
I have great news for you, David, your Vacation Points should be able to converted to use for booking with Disney Cruise Line. There are a few guidelines around these conversions, so let's take a look at that first. Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can book a Disney Cruise Line Voyage up to 24 months in advance of the sail date. These reservations must also be made prior to the last four months of your Use Year for cruises during that year. Next, I recommend taking a look at the
Points Chart for European sailings. Currently, it looks like the Disney Dream has
several options for European voyages in 2024. Once you see dates that would work for you, give
DVC Member Services a call. They will guide you through the process of converting Vacation Points into
Reservation Points for use with Disney Cruise Line. Keep in mind that there is a one time $95 transaction fee, prices subject to change, and the Point conversion is non-refundable. This means that the Points could not be converted back to be used as Vacation Points at DVC Resorts. I hope this helps you plan your Disney Cruise Line adventure. Touring Europe with touches of Disney pixie-dust throughout sounds absolutely lovely!
