    I live in FL. And plan on going to Disney in Jan. My out of State visitors are coming in Feb. am I able to purchase all tickets discounted tickets when we visit in Jan.

    Hi Nancy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question!

    Being Mickey’s neighbor definitely has its benefits. Florida Residents can enjoy special pricing when it comes to theme park tickets and even Disney Resort hotel stays all year round. While it’s a very thoughtful gesture to want to gift a theme park ticket to a friend, unless that friend is under the age of 18, they must use a theme park ticket meant for an out-of-state guest. 

    Nancy, in order to activate and use a Florida Resident theme park ticket, you must show Proof of Florida Residency. However, you may purchase and gift a ticket to a child or teen under the age of 18 and pay the Florida Resident ticket price.

    Your theme park tickets can be activated at any of the four theme park ticket windows or at the Guest Services location at Disney Springs.
