I live in NC (born in CA!) and will be in LA at the end of June. Since is sounds like after June 15 CA will “open up” can I buy tickets for Disneyland now and hope that we can go?

    Hi Rebecca,

As Ellie from UP says, "Adventure is out there," and I'm so glad to hear you're planning a California adventure. I bet you're looking forward to that!

I can certainly understand your desire to visit Disneyland Resort. I mean, you're going to be so close! At this point in the phased reopening, though, only California residents are permitted to enter the theme parks, and there have been no announcements regarding any upcoming change to this policy. When purchasing your ticket and making your park reservation, you will be asked to confirm that you are a California resident, so you will need to wait to purchase your ticket to see if anything changes prior to your visit. I know many Mouseketeers are wishing on a star that the residency restrictions will be relaxed soon, and I would encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or Disney's official social media channels for any updates.

In the meantime, please keep dreaming your Disney dreams, and I'm sending pixie dust that they'll come true sometime soon! Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Rebecca!
