Oh boy, Theresa!
I must say, your grandma is truly fortunate to have someone as sweet as you in her life! Those iconic “glasshouse” style balloons with a Mickey head inside of another clear balloon are simply dreamy. They're loved by Mouseketeers of every generation. And we all have fond memories of watching the movie "Up," reminding us that vibrant, playful balloons have the power to bring joy and melt hearts, no matter what age.
You can spot these iconic balloons all around the theme parks, and guess what? They're even available in the
Downtown Disney District, so you don't need an admission ticket to get your hands on them.
But Theresa, I have some disappointing news. I’ve just confirmed with a cast member on the
Disneyland Mobile App that there's no delivery service available to take the glasshouse balloons off-property.
Theresa, oh how I wish I could magically whisk those balloons to your grandmother myself! I'm practically right around the corner from the resort, and my panelist pals all agree that we would have had fun relay-racing those balloons down to her on your behalf. But alas, you'll have to recruit another helper from your family and friends who can swing by on a quick day trip. No doubt someone will step up to the plate!
The good news is that you can actually take Disneyland balloons home with you, even on an airplane. Just let the air out and carefully flatten them in your luggage (be careful not to pop or puncture them!). Then you can re-inflate them later with helium and relive the magic!
Theresa, I know this wasn’t the news you wanted to read today, but as Princess Tiana says, “Now that you know exactly where you're going, you're getting closer and closer every day!” So I'm wishing you all the sweetness goin' 'round, and make sure to
pop on back to me if you think of any more questions about The Happiest Place On Earth. I'm always here to share my favorite
tips or
suggestions.
Good things are sure to come your way!
