    I live in Florida, may be spectator at cheerleading comp Feb 11-13 at Disney ESPN. I see event tickets are through Varsity, Would I need to buy park admission to attend the cheer competition? What about parking? FL resident rates?

    Hey there, Sue!  Welcome to planDisney!

    Y! E! L! L! Y-E-L-L EVERYBODY YELL GO ... Oh, sorry -- former cheer mom here!  It is cheer and dance competition season at Walt Disney World Resort.  There are multiple competitions held over the next several weeks at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

    You are correct that spectator admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the upcoming cheerleading competition is available through Varsity Cheer at varsity.com.  ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is a separate venue at Walt Disney World Resort and does not require theme park admission in addition to your event ticket for the cheerleading competition.  The spectator admission ticket is good for one day of access to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.  If you will be attending the competition on multiple days, you will need a ticket for each day.

    There is no fee for self-parking at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

    There is not a Florida resident discount for the event tickets, however, you may purchase a discounted Florida resident theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Plus or Water Park and Sports option, which would include admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.  For example, a 3-day Park Hopper Plus ticket would also include 3 admissions to Disney's Water Parks, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, miniature golf courses, and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
