Craig from England Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

HI, we live in England and are coming to Orlando in August. We want to visit Disney Hollywood Studios for 1 day. Can we buy just a day ticket for the 4 of us? Do we wait until we get there, or buy online. As we can only see weekly tickets.

    Welcome to planDisney, Craig!

Thanks for sharing your question with us. I’m sure you’re counting down the days until you visit the Vacation Kingdom of the World. Let’s jump right in and get you the information you need.

You are correct that guests visiting from England cannot purchase 1-day theme park tickets through the UK version of the Walt Disney World website. Only 7 and 14-day ticket packages are available at this time. You will be able to purchase 1-day tickets once you are in the United States, either online, through the My Disney Experience mobile app, or at the Hollywood Studios front gate.

If you have any questions or need assistance purchasing tickets once you are in the U.S., you can call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to speak with a helpful Cast Member.

A summer visit to Walt Disney World sounds magical. Cool Kids’ Summer will be in full swing, and there will be so many things to experience across the whole resort, including Hollywood Studios. I haven’t had the chance to experience Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets yet, but I’m especially excited for this update to Sunset Boulevard. You can find out more about what’s new at Hollywood Studios here.

I hope this information helps with your holiday planning, Craig. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
