I live in CT it has been about 25 degrees, pretty cold. Our trip is going to be in the middle of February. What is the weather like? What type of clothing should I pack for my kids aged 4,8 & 10? Also is it warm enough to go to the beach?

We'll since WDW is landlocked, you can't go to the beach, but you probably can go to the pool. All the pools at WDW are heated and you will see children swimming in them in all kinds of weather. There are some hotels at WDW that have access to the sandy shore of a lake area. This is nice for lounging or building sand castles, but you can't go swimming here. The weather is mid-February averages highs in the low 70s and lows in the high 40s (at night). Bear in mind that these are averages and any given year might be very different. I have been to WDW during five of the last six Februaries and have experienced everything from sunburn to frostbite. I make it a point of checking the forecast on weather.com as the date of my trip approaches and adjusting my packing accordingly. In general, for my trips in February, I bring a fairly wide variety of clothing and lots of layers. I'll bring one or two pairs of shorts per person, in case we end up with a heat wave, but mostly I pack capri-length pants and jeans. On top, we start off the day with a short sleeved T, under a long sleeved T, under a jacket or sweater. As the cool morning warms up, we just adjust the layers for comfort.
