Live out of California but I want to do the payment plan for the magic pass. Heard that option is only available for ca. residents. Is that true? And why. And if so. My grandma lives in Southern California. Can I use her address? Thanks

Hi Dennis! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

It sounds like you're looking forward to the reopening of Magic Key sales. If you are, be sure you're there right waiting to enter the virtual waiting room as they open. Sales are much-anticipated and availability of Magic Keys may be limited and isn't guaranteed. Each Magic Key has its own perks, discounts, and Blockout dates. Be sure you've read through the terms, so you know you're selecting the right one for you. Prices and terms are subject to change.

California residents have the great option of monthly payments. Those of us like you and me who aren't as local to the magic don't. I know it's a shame you can't select monthly payments when paying for your Magic Key, I wish I could too, but that's the current terms of purchase.

Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to use your grandma's address. I have family in SoCal too! The address needs to be the billing address for your method of payment, so someone else's won't work. Maybe in the future, they'll open up this option to the rest of us! In the meantime, it's a one-time payment.

Check out the handy Buying Guide for information on this and other aspects of securing your shiny new Magic Key. It will help ensure you're ready to go tomorrow.

    I hope this helps.
