My little one will be three weeks shy of 3 years old when we're on Castaway. How strict are the rules for Scuttles Cove? Would my little one be able to go?

    Ahoy, Dani!

Welcome aboard! We are so glad you are hEAR and excited you'll be enjoying a magical vacation with Disney Cruise Line soon! Disney Castaway Cay is my favorite port of call because I enjoy the relaxed feel of this Bahamian paradise and love how it is sprinkled with whimsical touches of Disney throughout the island.

Scuttle's Cove is open for secured programming for Guests ages 3 to 12 when ships are docked at Castaway Cay. Since safety is Disney Cruise Line's number concern, little ones under three are unable to check-in during secured programming on the island. But, you'll be happy to know there will be a lot for your sailor to experience, including visiting with Disney Characters in their adorable beach attire and moving and shaking with them at Character Dance Party at the Island Gazebo. And I can't recommend the Family Whale Dig at Monstro Point enough! This was my son's favorite activity when he was younger because he loved digging for whale bones at this "excavation site." Please check your map of Castaway Cay for location information and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for times. You'll also want to check out Spring-a-Leak, a water playground that offers a lot of splashtacular fun!

Dani, please let us know if you have any other questions about your upcoming voyage with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of their seafaring crew. I know they can't wait to "sea" you onboard!
