This is my little girls first trip to WDW she is 18 months and I was wondering can she ride on my lap for Pirates of the Carribean?

    Hi Jennifer,

How absolutely exciting to be planning your little girl's first Disney World trip! I am a Pirate of the Caribbean nut! It is one of the attractions we visit multiple times during our visits. My boys have been on this attraction from the time they were infants, matter of fact I am surprised their first word wasn't Argh. The vehicle that you ride on is a boat with bench style seating. The boat floats across a waterway and is usually a smooth sailing adventure, however there is a small hill at one point. I have held the boys on my lap when they were quite small, but once they were toddlers I usually sat them next to me and just put my arm around them. It seemed to be a little more comfortable for them and me. If it works best for you, you can hold her, but depending on her size the cast members may ask you to put her next to you on the bench for her safety.

Hope you have a magical trip!
