    I have a little girl that will be 8 in July and we are planning a trip to Disney and us was wondering about the birthday celebration in cinderella‘s castle, and how to meet the characters

    I am delighted to hear you wish to plan the "best day ever" for your little Princess! I am a girl mama too, and I love celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort! I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help you get started. As Fairy Godmother likes to say, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!":

    • Cinderella's Royal Table: This is the restaurant you are referring to! This dining experience is the perfect place to not only eat a delicious meal but also say hi to your favorite princesses! As a popular dining option, I recommend making a reservation once your 60-day window opens! Did you know you can also order birthday cakes? Pre-order a Mickey Celebration Cake for your Princess' special day when you make your reservations!
    • Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: A grand meal at Cinderella's Royal Table calls for a makeover fit for any Princess! This is a very popular Enchanting Extra, and I also recommend booking this experience once your 60-day window opens! My daughter got the opportunity to have an appointment on her 6th birthday, and it was so special watching her pick her updo and get gussied up by her Fairy Godparent-In-Training!
    • Birthday Button: Stop by City Hall once you enter Magic Kingdom, and pick up a blue "Happy Birthday!" button and a green "I'm Celebrating!" button for you and anyone else in your group! It's a fun souvenir to remember such a special day!
