I am a little confused on the 60 day thing ! I am staying at a Villa not on the Disney resorts, can I book 60 days ahead of each day I want to dine ? eg I want to book Chef Mickey's character Breakfast for 5 May so do I book on 6th March or 7th?

Hi Trudie! Welcome to planDisney! Your planning is off to a great start! It sounds like you’re ready to enjoy some Disney Dining!

You are correct! As a Guest staying off-property, you can make your Disney Dining reservations 60 days before the day you wish to reserve for dining. So, if you would like to dine at Chef Mickey’s (a delicious choice) on May 5, 2024, the first day that you would be able to book that reservation is Wednesday, March 6, 2024! Circle that date on your calendar!

Then, for example, if you’d like to book dining for May 6, 2024, you could begin booking that reservation on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Trudie, the big difference for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is that they have the perk of being able to book all of their Disney Dining reservations (for up to 10 days) beginning 60 days before the day they check in to their resort hotel. Realistically, they could book all of their reservations beginning on the same day regardless of the day they prefer to dine. They also have the perk of being able to add the Disney Dining Plan to their vacation package.

I hope that clears up the confusion! Happy dining at the Walt Disney World Resort! Remember to circle that all-important date on your vacation planning calendar!

    Dreams do come true!
