    Hi - We will have a little bit of time Sunday morning during our stay before we need to leave for the airpor to go homet. What time do the stores in the Marketplace at Downtown Disney typically open on Sundays? Do the boats from PO run then too?

    Hi Mary Jo!  How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World in February!  It will be here before you know it!! You are a girl after my own heart as our family tradition is to always visit Downtown Disney on our last day!! We absolutely love the World of Disney store!! The stores in the Marketplace at Downtown Disney typically open at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays.  The restaurants in the Marketplace open at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays.  I would suggest confirming these times with your resort front desk during your stay to make sure the hours have not changed.  The Sassagoula watercraft from Port Orleans does not start running to Downtown Disney until 10:00 a.m. The boats run every 20 minutes between the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and every 10 minutes between the hours of  4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The boat ride itself takes approximately 20 minutes. Bus transportation may be your best bet if you are trying to be there at opening as buses start running to Downtown Disney 30 minutes prior to opening times.
