Hi Ana! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your visit is coming up in just a few days!
Recently an
announcement was made about
updates to
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, including an adjustment to the guidelines on stroller sizes.
Beginning May 1, 2019, strollers greater than 31" wide and 52" in length will be prohibited. There is not a list of approved strollers. It is up to the guest to be aware whether or not their stroller meets the guidelines. You might find the dimensions for your particular model of stroller in the manual or on the manufacturer's website. I recommend measuring your stroller at the widest and longest points to be certain it fits within the guidelines. (Measuring tip: it might be easiest to box out these dimensions on the floor, and make sure the stroller fits fully within the box.)
My friend and fellow panelist Rayna recently answered another guest with some
recommendations for double stroller models that adhere to the updated guidelines.
If you find your stroller is larger than the dimensions above, consider
renting a stroller. Walt Disney World Resort has single and double strollers available to rent at all Theme Parks and Disney Springs. The rental strollers very easy to push and maneuver, and are low to the ground making it easy for children to climb in and out on their own. However, they are not padded and do not recline, so if you have infants I suggest renting through one of the Disney Featured Providers. These independent rental companies will deliver to your Resort Hotel and offer many stroller models to choose from.
I hope that helps! Please visit us again if we can answer any additional questions.
Have a wonderful visit!
Anne Marie
