Hi Michelle,
It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you to planDisney! I’m so excited that you will be our Guest here at Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks! So, I invite you to relax and pull up a chair as I proudly present your dinner – or at least how to discover Gluten Free dining options.
Since menu options are always evolving and new amazing meals and snacks are frequently offered, there is not a “master list” of all the gluten-free options available. But never fear, you will find many options that are prepared and served with flair that will fit your needs.
On the
Walt Disney World website, you can review menus for
Table Service and Quick Service locations. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and you will see each menu item suitable for food intolerances or allergies. As you will see, there is a culinary cabaret of dishes that are gluten-free!
When you make a dining reservation online, before you confirm your reservation you will have an opportunity to indicate that you have a special dietary request, under
"Special Dietary or Accessibility Requests.” This information will be noted in your reservation. Once you arrive, whether or not you have indicated your dietary request previously, you can
ask to speak to a chef or a special diets-trained Cast Member who can share more about the menu.
Michelle, you can also ask Cast Members at Quick Service and snack locations for nutrition information, but it is possible that this information is not available at every location. I suggest that you download the
My Disney Experience app and explore the various snack and Quick Service options through
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. Not only will it allow you to find the best options for your situation, but you will also save time by ordering in advance!
I hope this information is helpful to you, Michelle. Please feel free to
drop back by and let me know if you have other questions or need some tips for navigating all the amazing dining options at Walt Disney World Resort. We are here to serve, course by course, one by one, until you shout, “Enough, I’m done!”
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
