How ya doin', Tony, and welcome back to planDisney!
I am decidedly not an outdoor girl, but I frequently say that
the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is the closest I'll get to camping. They really do have everything you need to feel like a home away from home. While there wasn't an official list, I did a touch of research and can tell you what I found.
These cabins come complete with a proper kitchen just waiting for y'all to cook up a family-sized meal. Full-sized refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, coffeemakers, and toasters can be found in every one. There are also cooking utensils, flatware, bowls, plates, and mugs for up to 6 guests. And of course, they've got a skillet, saucepans, a baking sheet, etc., to feed your family.
Pro-tip: As a Louisiana girl, if I plan to cook, I pack or purchase my own spices to make sure I'm ready to whip up something tasty like I would at home.
Pro PRO-Tip: Make a grocery order and have it delivered to keep your kitchen fully stocked. My grocery order is a part of every Disney vacation, whether it's just water and snacks for the room or a full order for longer stays. And if you really just don't feel like cooking a thing on this vacation, head over to
Trail's End Restaurant and fill up the whole family.
Tony, have the best time in the great Disney outdoors. If you happen to see me, just pass me a plate of whatever y'all are cooking in there. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
