Bonjour, Theresa, and I'm so glad you've decided to be our guest here at planDisney! Your
Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming up soon, and like Belle, it sounds like you are ready for some fine dining in your castle-away-from-home. Let's tie a napkin 'round your neck and see what options you'll have for baking during your stay.
I spoke with a freshly-pressed Cast Member who said no baking pans are listed among the amenities in the Two-Bedroom Suites at
Disney's BoardWalk Villas. Those suites have access to the Innkeeper's Club, which provides coffee, a light breakfast, snacks, and hot appetizers, so those suites do not have kitchens. These rooms will have a coffee station and a small refrigerator for you to use.
The Deluxe Studios at this resort have kitchenettes with microwaves, and the One-Bedroom Villas do come with full kitchens. The Cast Member said that pots and pans are in those full kitchens, but he did not see a baking pan listed specifically. I'm sure items can vary, but if you need a specific pan, I suggest bringing one along.
If you decide to stay in a one-bedroom villa with a full kitchen for baking, one option is to order the pan you need online and have it
shipped directly to the resort. You can find the
resort address on the website, and remember to include the word "Guest" along with your arrival date. The resort will also charge a small handling fee, but if your packing space is limited, this might be the best option.
My favorite part of staying at Disney's BoardWalk Villas is its proximity to the International Gateway entrance to
EPCOT. It's like having a private path to the World Showcase! And the Disney Skyliner is there for a quick ride to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. They say location is everything, and this gorgeous resort is certainly in a desirable spot.
Theresa, I hope you can create a culinary cabaret on your upcoming visit. Please
stop by planDisney anytime...I'll have the grey stuff waiting!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
