A great, big, beautiful welcome to you, Christy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney while you're on your
Walt Disney World Resort holiday. I hope your journey from overseas was pleasant. I can tell you're ready to head to the theme parks, so let's look at ways you can scan into the magic.
It sounds like you've
set up Disney MagicMobile service since your ticket is in your iPhone's wallet.
Disney MagicMobile will serve as your theme park ticket, essentially replacing a physical card ticket or a Disney band (called a
MagicBand here in the US). When you're at the scanner to enter the park or a
Lightning Lane entrance, simply hold your phone near the touch point. A bonus tip is that you can use an Apple Watch in the same way. It's truly magic!
If you'd like to link a MagicBand or
Key to the World Card to your account, you can do this in your mobile app by selecting MagicBands & Cards on the Welcome screen. Choose "Link Your MagicBand or Card" and follow the instructions. You can even use a combination of admission types during your visit. My favorite way to scan in is with my band, but I forgot mine recently and used MagicMobile for the rest of the day.
Please don't hesitate to stop by any
Guest Relations location if you have questions or need help setting up your admission. Cast Members are technical gurus and will have you on the right track in no time.
I hope you can take the plunge on
Tiana's Bayou Adventure while you're here. I suggest setting your alarm to join the
virtual queue at 7:00 AM sharp. You can also try at 1:00 PM once you've scanned into Magic Kingdom Park if you miss out on a boarding group in the morning. Going down the bayou singing those delightful songs from
The Princess and the Frog sounds like a fabulous way to have fun while cooling off!
Christy, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and thinking happy thoughts so you'll have a fabulous visit. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
