How do I link tickets I Bought for someone else to their account

From one Floridian to another, welcome to planDisney, Linda! Isn't it fantastic having Mickey Mouse as our neighbor? It sounds like you're sharing the magic of the Sunshine State with others, so let's look at how to assign those Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets to make everyone's visit practically perfect.

One way to assign tickets to other guests is through your My Disney Experience mobile app. First, be sure you're linked via Family & Friends in your Disney accounts. You can do this by email, or if you're near each other, a linking code.

Once your accounts are connected, tap the My Tickets & Passes tile on the app's welcome screen. All valid theme park tickets that you are managing should appear. Swipe through them until you see a ticket you'd like to assign to another guest.

As long as it's an unused ticket, you should see an option under the barcode to "Assign/Reassign Ticket." Tap that to see a list of guests you're linked to. Select the guest and follow the prompts, and that lucky person is ready for some pixie dust!

Another way to link tickets is to call the Tickets & Hotel Reservations line. It would be helpful to already be linked to all the guests before you call, or to have a list of their names and email addresses associated with their Disney accounts. Cast Members can help get everyone synced to a ticket, and you'll all be good to go!

You're arriving just as the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom. My husband and I visited this week and were wowed by the gorgeous topiaries. My favorite is the return of the Stitch topiary after a few years' absence; you can find him up to his usual mischief near Mission: SPACE. Cowabunga!

Linda, I hope you and your gang have a terrific time on your upcoming visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime; I'll have the orange juice waiting!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
