Welcome to planDisney, Monica!
Monica, this is such a great question, because you are right that once you link a ticket to a person, the ticket number disappears into cyberspace.
Monica, the important thing is that you assign the proper type of ticket to each member of your party. For example, make sure that each adult has been assigned an adult ticket and each Mouseketeer over the age of three has a ticket that says "Ages 3-9."
You can check that each of your party has a ticket by going into your
My Disney Experience Account and clicking "My Plans." About halfway down the page there will be an option to select "Tickets & Memory Maker." Here you should see each of your
Family & Friends that have been assigned a ticket.
Most unused tickets are actually transferable between party members, so it would not matter which ticket number they had in hand until the first day that you enter the theme park.
If you are using a handy-dandy
MagicBand, this will be a non-issue since each member of your party has their own band linked to their account. If you are using physical tickets, I would recommend that you write each person's name on the back of the card in permanent marker, for easy identification.
Monica, don't forget to make your
Disney Park Pass system reservations! You can go ahead and do this as soon as the
tickets are properly linked in your account.
I hope that this answered your question, Monica! Please come back here if we can help answer any questions for you about where to play or dine at Walt Disney World Resort.
See you real soon!
