Hi Chasity!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to help you out!
You can link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account online or by using the My Disney Experience app.
To link your tickets online, head to the
Disney World website and click the My Disney Experience tab. Scroll down and click Park Tickets, followed by Link Tickets.
If you’d rather link your tickets using the
My Disney Experience app, click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner, then click My Tickets & Passes. After you click the (+) button in the top right corner, you’ll have a few options to choose from regarding how you want to link the tickets. Choose whichever one works best for you and follow the prompts.
Once you’ve linked your tickets, make sure to have them assigned to each member of your travel party. To do so, you’ll have to be linked through your
Family & Friends List. Once you’re all connected, you will be able to reassign any tickets that weren’t assigned previously.
While date-based theme park tickets no longer require park reservations, other ticket types do. So, if you have a ticket type that requires one,
make that park reservation as soon as you link your tickets to your account to ensure you can visit the parks you’re hoping to.
With your trip right around the corner, it’s great that you’re getting this all set up now! If you’re hoping to use
Lightning Lane Multi Pass,
Lightning Lane Single Pass, or
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you’ll need those tickets linked to your account, so you’ll be ready to go.
Remember, you can purchase your Lightning Lane services for your whole trip beginning at 7 AM, 7 days prior to your resort check-in if you’re
staying at a Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’ll be staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket if it’s a date-based ticket.
I hope that helps…and that you have the best trip! Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue your countdown.
