Hi Delphine, welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to help with your question about linking an eTicket to your Disney account. I did this just a few days ago for my parents after my dad received a
Southern California Resident Ticket, so you have a friend in me to help with this!
My favorite way to link tickets is through the
Disneyland app. That way, you have the app ready to go on the day of your visit. First, I recommend printing out your eTicket. It makes it a little easier to link it to the app, which I'll explain in a moment. You can also bring it with you on the day of your visit just in case you have trouble accessing the tickets on your phone. It never hurts to have a backup!
To link your ticket, download the Disneyland app onto your device and sign into your Disney account. Then, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom corner of the screen (☰) and tap "My Tickets & Passes" near the top. To link a new ticket, tap the blue circle with a plus sign (+) at the top of the screen and then tap "Link Tickets & Passes". If you have that printed eTicket handy, it's easy to scan the barcode with the camera on your device by tapping the blue "Open Camera" button. Alternatively, you can tap the "Type ID" link at the top of the screen and enter the ticket number manually. Remember that the ticket number (shown under the barcode on the eTicket) is different from the confirmation number.
If you prefer to link the tickets from a computer, head to
Disneyland.com and sign in. Then, hover over the "My Disneyland" button in the top menu and click "Link Tickets". This page can also be accessed by clicking the "Link Tickets" button in your ticket confirmation email. Like the process in the app above, you'd enter your ticket number in the box to link it to your account. Should you encounter any issues, you can
contact Ticket Services.
I mentioned earlier that I love the Disneyland app. The app is helpful before your trip when managing your park reservations, making dining reservations, and building an itinerary. On the day of your visit, the app makes it easy to scan into the park, purchase and use
Lightning Lane passes, link photos, check wait times, order food, and more. And after your trip, you can relive the memories by looking through and downloading any photos you linked. Pack a portable charger so your phone's battery doesn't run out. There are
portable phone charging system kiosks throughout the resort should you want to purchase one on the day of your visit.
I hope these instructions have been helpful to you, Delphine! I see that you are visiting this weekend. You'll be able to enjoy all the
seasonal holiday decor, entertainment, and other activities that can be found at the resort through January 6.
Wishing you the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth,
Kriss
