Can you link one magic band to two resort rooms. Multiple people sharing two rooms and would like access to both rooms

    Hi Jay!
I am so glad you found planDisney to ask your question about MagicBands!

You cannot have the same adult on 2 separate Walt Disney Resort Reservations, which means that one MagicBand will not be able to open two resort rooms. To gain access to an additional resort room, you can do a couple of different things.

If the adult in the second room has an old MagicBand, they can reactivate it on their MyDisneyExperience mobile app or website, and then give it to you to use to open the door. I often have multiple MagicBands with me (I like to coordinate with my outfit of the day), and I usually check to make sure they will all open the resort door.

You also can visit the guest services desk at your resort and ask them to make you a Key to the World card in order for you to gain access to the second resort room.

Depending on the amount of people in your party, you might also consider booking a family suite at either Disney’s All Star Music or Art of Animation resorts. These sleep up to 6 people, and only have one door to access the room. Or, take a look at the 2-bedroom deluxe villa accommodations at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope your family has a magical vacation!
    Happy Planning,
    Tracy
