Hi Fred, and welcome to planDisney. Your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it, so let’s figure out how to use your older tickets, or as I like to call them, vintage tickets!
If you're not able to
link your tickets in the My Disney Experience app or on the website, which is often the case for tickets that are from many years ago, you'll have to
give Disney World a call. A Cast Member can talk you through your options for using the tickets and get you all set for your next visit! You can also do this in person at one of the Disney World theme park ticket windows.
Disney World honors unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days, no matter how old they might be. So if this is the case for your tickets, you should be able to use them for your trip this year.
I’m excited that you’ll be at Disney World for the spookiest season! Magic Kingdom will be BOO-tifully decorated and you can even stay until the strike of midnight with the specially ticketed event,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is one of the only times when adults can wear costumes in the park and one year my friends and family dressed as the different emotions from Inside Out! We love the
trick-or-treat trails and special
PhotoPass Magic Shots, but my absolute favorite part is the entertainment—
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and the
Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks. They’re not to be missed!
Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as they announce more details for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in the coming months. They’ll also share a foodie guide with Halloween Treats closer to the spooky season. You can check out
last year’s guide to start getting excited. Half of my Disney trip planning usually revolves around all the fun snacks!
I hope you have a magical visit to Disney World this October. And if you have any other questions before then, we’d love to have you back at planDisney!
