How do I link myself with a reservation made by someone else?

Welcome to planDisney, Sharyl! Mickey and I are excited to hEAR that you're planning to return to the magic soon!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is always fun, but it's even better going with friends. Luckily, Disney makes the process easy peasy by allowing guests to link their plans together, including tickets and reservations, in My Disney Experience through the Family & Friends list. Here's how to do it:

    1. Log in to your My Disney Experience account.
    2. Click on "My Friends & Family List"
    3. At the bottom of the page, look for the blue link that says, "Add a Guest."
    4. You will see three options: "Find through my connected Guests," "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation," or "I'll enter their name and age."

Once you complete the above steps, your friend will receive an email notification and be given a choice to accept or decline your invitation. When they accept, you will see a checkmark next to their name in your Family & Friends list, and you can then share the vacation planning activities in My Disney Experience. It will also be necessary for your friend to call the Walt Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Line at (407) 939-1936 in order to add you to their reservation; phone lines open at 7:00 AM EST. Once this is done, you'll be able to log in and see your reservation information...just like magic! Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! If you have any trouble along the way, call the Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-4357.

I wish you a magical vacation this holiday season, Sharyl! If there's anything else we can do, remember we're all EARs!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
