Hi Carley!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'll do my best to offer some technical assistance.
If you're coordinating plans with a group, you'll first want to make sure everyone is connected on your
Family & Friends list. You can do this using your
My Disney Experience Mobile App by scanning or inputting their linking code, finding through connected guests, or simply inputting their name and age which will create a managed profile for them under your account. If you need to connect with a minor or a profile managed by another guest, there are a few steps needed.
Back in our early days of Disney Parks family vacations, my husband and children were all managed profiles on my Family & Friends list. My husband later created his own My Disney Experience Account, and I wanted to share planning access for our children's "managed profiled" with him. This allowed him to include them when making Lightning Lane selections and joining Virtual Queues.
To do this, I located his name on my
Family & Friends list online (not the app), and then clicked "Settings." Next, I clicked
"Connect Managed Profiles" and selected both our children's names from the list of available accounts. Whoever manages the profiles in question will need to follow these same steps to grant you access. Once that's complete you should be able to
link MagicBands to appropriate guests using your My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Check out the helpful videos on this page, specifically the second "Managing Multiple MagicBands" for step-by-step instructions. If that doesn't work you can contact a Cast Member with the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ team by phone for further assistance.
Carley, I hope this offers a quick solution. If you have any additional questions or concerns as you countdown to your visit, please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney.
Magic and memories,
Amy
