Can you link gift cards to your magic band? is there a special login for the photo memory maker package where you can see pictures taken during the day?

    Hi Tina,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for sending us these great questions!

I'm a big fan of the Disney Gift Card and usually have a few of them on hand when I visit Walt Disney World.  At this time, it's not possible to link those gift cards to your MagicBand to make purchases, but you do still have some options.  You have the ability to link a credit card, which allows you to purchase food and merchandise when you're in the parks, resorts and at Downtown Disney.  You can also pay with your Disney Gift Card at almost every location on property.  Another option (and the one I use most often) is to link a credit card so that you can use your Magic Band for purchases, and then at the end of the day stop by the front desk at your resort.  You can use those Disney Gift Cards to pay down the day's balance before those charges hit your credit card.

As for Memory Maker, I can't recommend it enough!  It's such a convenient way to capture all your vacation memories, including those from participating attractions, character experiences and dining locations.  You'll be able to see those pictures on your account just minutes after they're linked using the Disney PhotoPass site.  You can visit that site using your computer or mobile device, log in to your account and the photos will all be there...like magic!

I hope that helps with your planning, Tina, but please write back if we can answer any other questions.

Sending you lots of pixie dust!
