Hello Scott!
As a frequent Walt Disney World traveler, I did find it a bit different when organizing for our upcoming visit to the
Disneyland Resort. As a planner extraordinaire, I am in my happy place when everything is neat, organized, booked, and ready to go for a vacation!
While it makes me decidedly twitchy, currently my family is all named as “Guest Two,” and “Guest Three,” and so forth on the website, and on my Disneyland Mobile App, they are all in my name with a different ticket number. There is not a way to add other Guests by name on your Disneyland Account, or link in the same way as Family & Friends on My Disney Experience for the Walt Disney World Resort.
However, as odd as it sounds to an experienced Walt Disney World Traveler, at Disneyland, a ticket can exist on more than one person’s
Disneyland App. This is how you all connect as one party so that you can secure a Boarding Group for a virtual queue for either
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Using the Disneyland App, touch the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Then select Tickets and Passes. From that screen, hit the little plus sign in the upper right corner. Then add each ticket number or scan the barcode for everyone’s tickets in the party, and do this for each party member’s mobile device. When it’s time to join a virtual queue, whoever is attempting to secure the Boarding Group should be able to make that attempt for all the tickets in the group!
I hope this helps to answer your question, Scott. We are here if you need us!
Have a Magical Day!
