Krystal,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Linking your room reservation to your
My Disney Experience account is as easy as 1-2-3!
Start by visiting the Walt Disney World website and hover over
"My Disney Experience" from the top menu, at the far right. In that drop-down menu, select
"My Plans". You should see a series of circles lined up horizontally, one each for different kinds of reservations. Hover over the
"Resort Hotel" circle and then click on the
"Link a Reservation" button that pops up. Enter your confirmation number and it will add it to your plans.
Note that these are the same steps you would follow if you have park tickets or dining reservations to link as well.
BONUS TIP #1Getting all this information into your account before your trip will help make your visit more seamless once you arrive. When you land stateside, the
My Disney Experience App on your smartphone will help you easily navigate the magical worlds that lie ahead. Park tickets, hotel reservations, special event passes, and so much more is delivered to you, in real-time, as you enjoy the parks.
BONUS TIP #2It is from this same My Disney Experience account that you can use the
Online Check-In feature. You can check in to your resort room before arriving. This will help ensure your account is set up properly for charging, among other things. They will even text you your room number when it is ready! You can even at that time make some requests related to your room type. Those can vary by resort but can include things like requesting a ground-floor room, a room near the lobby, and so on.
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
