    Hi. Can I link the Disney gift cards to my magic band? Will the Disney gift cards work on all the stores in the parks and Disney hotels? Thank you.

    Hey Olga!

    This is a great question! One of my favorite tips for travelers to Walt Disney World is to buy Disney Gift Cards prior to their vacation. This can to helps with a few area of your budget:

    1. It can help you stay on budget. If you have the amount of money in gift cards which you are willing to spend you will be less likely to overspend.
    2. It's a great way to save money for your Disney vacation in a way which won't allow you to spend it before your vacation.
    3. There are stores, such as Target and Kroger's, and online vendors, such as GiftCardGranny, which gives you shopper advantages or sells the Disney Gift Cards at a discount. For example, my local Kroger's gives gift card buyers 4X fuel points. This means for every $100 gift card I buy I get $0.40 off gas per gallon which will save me $8.00 or 9.2% saving on the gift card.

    I have good news for your regarding your Disney Gift Cards: you can definitely link these to your MagicBands. If you would rather use them at the time of purchase as opposed to linking them to your MagicBand, they can be used at any Disney owned and operated locations where credit cards are currently accepted. Some carts, and other outdoor merchandise vendors may not be able to accept the gift card.
