    When do I link debit card to wristband, when ordering then or upon checking in?

    Hey, Regina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing your question to us! MagicBands are such wonderful little accessories. They are more than just a souvenir - they are the key to unlocking so much of the magic found at Walt Disney World Resort. You can use it to unlock your Disney Resort Hotel guest room door, access your linked Disney Theme Park Ticket, and save your Disney PhotoPass pictures.

    I appreciate the convenience the MagicBand provides me, especially when it comes time to pay for meals and merchandise! Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel are welcome to save a payment source to their room reservation for charges made across Walt Disney World Resort via their MagicBand. When completing Online Check-In for your Disney Resort Hotel stay, there will be an option to store a credit or debit card. Simply input your preferred card's information there and you will be set! If you prefer to not complete Online Check-In, you may visit the Front Desk upon arrival at your Disney Resort Hotel to do so. The Cast Member be happy to store your payment source at that time. Once it is stored, you will be able to use your MagicBand at select locations across Walt Disney World Resort to pay for many types of purchases.

    Have you customized your complimentary MagicBands yet? Be sure to head over to My Disney Experience and look for your MagicBand order under the My MagicBands and Cards tab. These can be mailed to your home shortly before your vacation begins or you can have them sent to your Disney Resort Hotel for pickup when you arrive.
