Hi Lindsey, Is there a parking fee at ESPN for race expo? Information on speakers and times at expo? Virtual guide didn't say. Training advice for 1st timer on training for 5k?

    Hi Michelle!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is just around the corner and I'm so excited for you to participate in your very first 5K!

When you visit the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex to pick up your packet during the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo you will not have to pay for parking. A lot of Guests are stopping by quickly and they understand this, so there is no fee for parking and the usual admission is waived during runDisney weekends. At this time, I do not have any further information I can give you on the runDisney Speaker Series, but please continue to check in the Digital Event Guide as it should be updated with more information as the weekend approaches.

For a first time runner, I'd just make sure you are getting your training runs in! You'll have days you just don't feel like lacing up your sneakers and getting out the door, but once you do I bet you'll be glad you did. Preparation is the best thing you can to make sure you fully enjoy your first race event. Prior to the race, make sure to get plenty of rest and during it make sure to take a moment to soak it all in and truly enjoy every minute!

Please come back and let me know if you have any other questions before your magical runcation!
