Hi Lindsey! For optimum corral placement for Princess Half, should I submit a 10K proof-of-time of 57:19 or a half time of 2:05:39? I know they add pace time to the shorter distances so I'm not sure which would be better? Thank you so much!! :)

    Hi Emily!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Proof of time can always be a little tricky when registering for a race so I understand your confusion when registering for the Disney Princess Half Marathon!

While runDisney does not release their methodology for proof of time and corral placement, in the past I have always used the McMillan running calculator for my own use! You are correct that most pacing calculators do add some time on for longer distances so, for example, if you maintain a 9 minute mile for a 10K distance it is assumed you will move slightly slower for a half marathon distance. When I use the calculator it shows me that a 57:19 10K estimates a 2:07:47 half marathon finish time. Based on this, I would recommend you put in your half marathon time of 2:05:39!

While this is not 100% fool proof, I know myself and a lot of my runDisney friends have used this method in the past and found it to align very closely with the runDisney corral placements. Please let me know if you have any other questions before your race!
