Hi Lindsey, I'm very excited to be running the W&D 5k and 10k, I have noticed some changes this year and was wondering if you knew when to expect news on theming and locations of the races. Thanks

    Hi Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I will also be attending Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend and, just like you, I am also eagerly awaiting more announcements to come!

First and foremost, you best source of up to date information on all things Disney, including runDisney, will be the Disney Parks Blog! I would recommend subscribing if you haven't already, so you will receive email updates of everything going on. Along with this, theme updates and courses are also usually announced on several social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, so if you aren't already I'd also recommend following along there @runDisney.

It's hard to say exactly when more information will be released. For the 2017 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, the Pixar theme was revealed on the Disney Parks Blog almost 6 months in advance! However, for the 2017 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, the Beauty and the Beast theme was revealed only about 2.5 months in advance.

As far as course specifics, that usually comes a few weeks prior to the race, so I'd look for more information on that to come in late September or early October. Please let me know if you have any other questions before your upcoming runcation!
