Hi Lindsay, We are in the early planning stages of a trip from Australia in Jan 2019. I am hoping to coincide my trip with the runDisney Star Wars light side Marathon weekend. Any idea when the release date would be for this? Australians cant get emails

    Hi Erin!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I've met runDisney enthusiasts from all over the globe, but you may take the cake on traveling the furthest for a runDisney event!

With the changes this past year, registration for runDisney events has been opening up approximately 11 months prior to the event. However, for the 2018 Star Wars Half Marathon- The Light Side, we are still awaiting more information on registration, though the race is 4 months out. I would continue to follow the 2018 event to give you some insight on how the 2019 registration will progress. Since you are unable to receive the runDisney email notifications, I'd recommend following along on social media to keep up with the latest runDisney news. You can find @runDisney on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, plus the Disney Parks Blog!

Please let me know if you have any other questions in planning your 2019 runcation!
