Ahoy, Krista!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Can you believe you'll be setting sail in only TWO days? Your
Halloween on the Seas adventure is almost hEAR, and I know you cannot wait to be cruising with Captain Mickey and Minnie real soon.
The days leading up to your departure can be a bit hectic, Krista, but it will all be worth it when you're welcomed aboard in grand fashion on Friday! I'm sure
packing is on the top of your to-do list, so I'm glad you stopped by with your question. Disney Cruise Line does not have specific size requirements for checked luggage except that each bag should not exceed 50 pounds. Each member of your cruise party should have received two luggage tags, each with their name and stateroom number pre-printed on them. You'll want to place these tags on your luggage before arriving at the port. As for carry-on luggage, you'll want your bag to be no larger than 22" x 14" x 9" since it will have to pass through an x-ray machine at the terminal's security checkpoint. You can bring two carry-on bags along with your two pieces of checked luggage. Staterooms are ready at 1:30 p.m., so you'll want to keep that in mind. Don't forget to keep passports, medications, and anything else you may need the first afternoon with you as luggage delivery can take a few hours.
Krista, along with your Halloween costumes, be sure to pack some pirate attire for
Pirate Night! This is always one of my favorite events aboard Disney Cruise Line. I love seeing the Cast & Crew in their pirate garb and celebrating up on the pool deck with the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks Spectacular! It's such a swashbuckling good time!
If you have any other last-minute questions, please let us know!
Bon Voyage!
