Hi Jennifer!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. For
Memory Maker without a
MagicBand, you will receive a PhotoPass card or your theme park admission card that photographers will scan to collect your photos. You can then link the PhotoPass card or your theme park admission card to your
My Disney Experience account and you'll use this card throughout your trip!
Some rides will still show your photo at the end of the ride and allow you to scan your PhotoPass card to collect these photos. Other rides sync up to the RFID chip inside of the MagicBand during the ride and this is the only way to collect your photo. These rides will sometimes include a video of the ride as well that you would not receive without a MagicBand. This includes
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
One of my favorite things that you'll still receive are the infamous Magic Shots, where a PhotoPass photographer can sometimes sneak a favorite Disney character into one of your images. If you haven't been asked to place your hands a certain way or something slightly odd like that, ask a photographer if they have the capability to add in a Magic Shot! Not all of them do, but it never hurts to ask.
Please let us know if you have any other questions before your trip!
