Hey there, Rachel! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!
Rachel, this question speaks to my Disney and animal-loving heart. As someone with 15 pets (two dogs, a cat and 12 chickens), I understand how your pets are your 'ohana. As Lilo says, "'Ohana means family, and family means that nobody gets left behind or forgotten." Let's chat about how many furry family members can join you on your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I spoke with a helpful Cast Member who informed me that the Walt Disney World pet policy states that two pets are permitted per pet-friendly Guest room, including campers at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Both dogs and cats are allowed to join you in your camper, as long as you adhere to the conditions of the Pet-Friendly Policy. I recommend checking out the Pet-Friendly Policy on the
Fort Wilderness page on the Walt Disney World website before leaving to have a tail-waggin' good time on your wild wilderness adventure.
If you have more than two fur babies and will need pixie-dusted pet boarding during your stay, I recommend checking out the
Best Friends Pet Hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. They offer daytime and overnight boarding, a dog park, cat condos, and just like the other fabulous Disney Resort hotels, Vacation Villas and Club Suites. Pluto makes sure that our furry friends are VIPs (Very Important Pups) at Walt Disney World Resort!
I hope this helps, and I hope that you and your 'ohana have the most magical and memorable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me.
Adventure is out there!
