Hi Ed!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you stopped by with your question, as many Guests are still learning how the
Disney Park Pass System works and making those reservations is critical!
Disney’s Park Pass Reservations are designed to help limit the number of Guests in the theme parks each day to safer levels. This allows for better social distancing and increased safety for both Cast Members and Guests. Guests with valid ticket media can and should reserve Disney Park Pass Reservations as soon as possible. With Americans feeling safer about travel, visits to the theme parks are becoming more popular and a quick look at the
Theme Park Availability Calendar reveals that Park Pass Reservations are filling weeks to sometimes months in advance.
Guests with multi-day tickets must reserve a Park Pass Reservation for each day of park admission. If you buy a 6-Day ticket you must make 6 Park Pass Reservations. You cannot make more Park Pass Reservations than you have admission for. So even though your
6-Day tickets are valid over 9 days, you can only make 6 Park Pass Reservations, not 9. Since the longest multi-day ticket currently available is the 10-day ticket, that would be the maximum number of days available to be booked by ticket holders.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders may make and hold a maximum of 3 Disney Park Pass Reservations at one time. The exception to this is for Annual Passholders that have a
Disney Resort Reservation. In that case, Annual Passholders can make Disney Park Pass Reservations for their length of stay, plus their three additional anytime Park Pass Reservations.
I hope this helps you as you plan your visit, Ed. I urge you not to wait in making any needed Park Pass Reservations. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
Have a Magical Day!
- Kate
