Bright Suns, Caroline!
If you will be making a journey to a galaxy far, far away with a large transport of travelers, you’ll be happy to know that there is not a limit on the number of travelers in one party who make
seek a Boarding Group for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. As more travelers decide to join the resistance, Boarding Groups are very popular and can be gone within seconds. Be prepared to attempt to secure one of these elusive Boarding Groups at exactly 7 AM on the morning of your travels to
Galaxy’s Edge. If you are unsuccessful, resistance fighters who are inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios can make a second attempt at 1 PM.
While it is not officially documented or proven, some travelers to the Outer Rim have speculated that having a larger traveling party can slow the system and may make it harder to reserve a Boarding Group. You could consider splitting into separate, smaller family groups, but know that some groups may get a Boarding Group while others may not, and they would likely be at different times. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of getting a Boarding Group with any of these options.
A few helpful hints. Have one traveler attempt to secure the Boarding Group while a second traveler watches the clock and does a countdown. Once the Boarding Groups open do not stop to check anything. It will list all your party members, do not stop to make sure everyone is there, just keep hitting the blue “Join” button as fast as you can. If the system accidentally misses a traveler or two, you can visit a Guest Services Cast Member who can add them to the Boarding Group if they were missed.
Thank you for deciding to join the resistance, Caroline. Be cautious on your visit to Galaxy’s Edge as the First Order has a strong presence in the area. I wish you success as you attempt to secure a Boarding Group.
May the Force Be With You!
