Is the a limit on gifts/souvenir size that can be sent back to resorts from the parks? I am thinking more on the smaller to medium size stuff. I would love to not walk around with bags from several stores when they could be sent back to the resort.

There is no limit on the size of items that can be sent back to your resort from the WDW shops. I myself have used this service for everything from a single paperback book to a GIANT stuffed Pluto.

The only thing that I know there are resort delivery restrictions on is food. Some food items cannot go in the resort delivery packages. I have forgotten this myself several times and ended up carrying around the parks candy that I had purchased as a gift for someone at home. If you are planning on buying food items in the parks, check with a cashier before you purchase to see whether they can be sent to the hotel for you or if you will be required to take them with you.
