Will we likely be too late for an 8:00 Fantasmic show if we have dinner reservations at Sci Fi Dine-In at 6:05 pm?

    Greetings Delilah!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! To be honest, I do think you may be cutting it rather close to make the 8:00 p.m. show of Fantasmic!! with an Advanced Dining Reservation at 6:05 p.m. for Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.  Although you have an Advanced Dining Reservation, you may encounter a small wait before being seated.  When I previously dined at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant, our entire dining experience took approximately one hour.

I usually recommend getting in line for Fantasmic!! at least 45 - 60 minutes before the start of the show to ensure getting a seat.  I would suggest trying to find an Advanced Dining Reservation a little earlier so that you won't feel like you have to rush through dinner.  If you are unable to find something earlier, I recommend arriving to the restaurant 15 - 20 minutes prior to your Advanced Dining Reservation in case they are able to seat your party a little early.  Another option you may consider is to book an Advanced Dining Reservation for lunch at the popular dining location and then enjoy a Quick-Service meal before the show in order to allow yourself added flexibility.

I hope these suggestions are helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to reach out again should you have any additional questions that we can assist you with. Best wishes for a magical trip, Delilah!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
