Is it likely that Covid restrictions will be more lenient in July 2021? We will be in park for a convention.

Greetings Elizabeth, and welcome to planDisney

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to the theme parks you go! It sounds like you are going to be a conventionEAR this summer. Visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth during Olaf's favorite season (and mine too!) is always exciting. You can feel the enthusiasm of families celebrating the end of another school year.

As the pandemic situation in our country continues to evolve, Walt Disney World is working together with national and local public health authorities to maintain a safe environment for Cast Members and Guests. Although we can't be sure what the future holds, it is helpful to monitor the Know Before You Go information for current health and safety measures. I recommend taking a look at this page as well as following the Disney Parks Blog to track any major changes to the current protocols.

I wish I could look into a crystal ball and offer you more information, Elizabeth, but in the meantime, know that Walt Disney World remains a fantastic destination for a safe and fun-filled escape. My family and I have visited several times since last summer, and we felt great about the health and safety measure Disney has in place. If you're looking for some ideas for the best face coverings to wear in the theme parks this summer, check out what I recently shared with a Guest.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Betsy, Maryland

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
