Hi Erendira, welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to answer your questions and help you plan a magical visit!
First, let's talk about the two types of Lightning Lane passes and how they work at the Disneyland Resort. The
Lightning Lane Multi Pass grants access to the Lightning Lane entrance at a number of attractions throughout Disneyland and California Adventure. These entrances lead to a shorter line (and therefore shorter wait times). You will select attractions in the Disneyland app throughout the day and receive timeframes to return. There are also
Lightning Lane Single Passes for top attractions not included in the multi pass, which currently include Radiator Springs Racers and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Everyone in your party aged three or older must have their own Lightning Lane pass to access the Lightning Lane entrance. Many groups, including my family, find it convenient to link the tickets for the whole party to one person's account in the
Disneyland app. This way, one person can easily make the Lightning Lane selections for everyone.
Now, let's talk about visiting the Disneyland Resort with a neurodivergent family member. My pal Cody just
answered a question on this topic and provided some valuable resources that you may find helpful for planning. Before your visit, I recommend looking into
Disability Access Service (DAS), which supports Guests who cannot wait in conventional queues for extended periods due to a developmental disability like autism. To determine eligibility for DAS, you will need to have a conversation with a Cast Member through a video chat in advance of your visit or at the Accessibility Services Kiosk once you arrive at the park.
Wishing you many happy memories with your family during your next visit to the Disneyland Resort.
