You’re more than welcome to book some
Lightning Lanes apart and some Lightning Lanes together throughout your park day. Each time you book a Lightning Lane throughout the day, you will confirm your party. So, you’ll be able to choose just some or all of your party each time.
There are a few things to be aware of when doing so, though!
First up…make sure your parties are linked via your
Family & Friends List. That way, whoever is booking the Lightning Lanes for the afternoon will have the ability to select the entire group.
You can connect to each other by using the
My Disney Experience app. Click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner, then scroll down to click “Profile.” On the top of the next page, click “Family & Friends List." There, you’ll see who you’re already linked to. If you don’t see a member of your travel party, click “(+) Add a Guest,” and follow the prompts.
Next, remember that you’ll only be able to book each Lightning Lane attraction once per park day (pending availability). So, if part of your party uses their Lightning Lane for an attraction in the morning, they will not be able to book that attraction again in the afternoon. Just something to think about as you plan your park days!
Finally, before deciding on a Lightning Lane plan in the afternoon, make sure everyone in your party is eligible to book a Lightning Lane. If part of the party already has 3 Lightning Lanes booked going into the afternoon, the system will not allow those people to be added to the group when booking a new Lightning Lane.
