In light of recent stroller rental price hikes we want to bring our own. What are the chances of our stroller being taken while parked outside rides? When we were there the last time, our rented stroller came up missing twice. We had the bandanas on too!!

I almost always recommended that people bring their own strollers to WDW. Now with the price hike, I think bringing your own is a near imperative.

I personally have brought expensive strollers to WDW on many occasions and never had any problems. I'm not naive enough to think that a personal stroller theft has never happened at WDW, but I have talked to hundreds of Disney guests over the years and have not myself heard of this happening. I would feel VERY secure about bringing your own to WDW. So, while I strongly believe that your stroller will not be stolen, I think it is quite likely that at some point your stroller will be moved. Cast members routinely move strollers to neaten up walkways or to make them fit better in a particular space. If you don't find your stroller exactly where you left it, don't panic. Chances are it's somewhere nearby. Ask a cast member if you need help finding it.
