Are there life jackets available at Disney World Resorts? Which pools can we go to if we are staying at Old Key West?

Hi Jordan and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is just weeks away! Have you packed your sunblock and Mickey ears yet?

Complimentary life jackets are available to any and all resort guests at all 25 Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Just ask a Cast Member at any resort pool and they will be happy to give you as many as you need for your party. For tips on how to keep your little one safe during your adventures at Disney Resort hotel pools and beyond, take a look at Timon and Pumbaa’s Disney’s Wild About Safety site.

Jordan, you’ve picked a great place to stay! Disney’s Old Key West Resort has four pools to choose from! The Sandcastle Pool, located near Hospitality House, has a great water slide and a sand beach. Little ones can also enjoy a nearby kiddie pool. For a more leisurely experience, you can visit the pools located at Old Turtle Pond, South Point and Miller’s Road. While there are more lounge areas at these pools, guests of all ages are allowed to enjoy them.

Another good tidbit to remember, complimentary towels are provided at all four pools!

If you want to enjoy some poolside time at night, you and your family can enjoy Movies Under the Stars by the Sandcastle Pool deck. Just check with a Cast Member at the front desk for movie schedules when you check-in.

I hope you enjoy your Incredible Summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort with your family! Please feel free to come back to see us soon!
